3M™ Loop Fastener SJ3401 is a general purpose loop fastener that serves as an attachment alternative to a wide variety of closures, including zippers, screws, snaps, hooks, and more. It features a woven loop backing, covered with thousands of soft, pliable napped loops, providing for thousands of openings and closings (cycles). This loop fastener is commonly paired with 3M™ Hook Fastener SJ3402 and can also engage with other 3M™ Hook Fasteners. Both the hook and the corresponding loop are preshrunk to ensure stability and flatness.

The backing of 3M™ Loop Fastener SJ3401 is free of adhesive or liner, allowing for easy customization. The fastener is most commonly attached by sewing, but can also be applied using hot melt or liquid adhesives (temperature resistance may change based on adhesive used). It provides a tailored appearance for fabrics and garments and is both washable and dry cleanable.
