3M PPS Lid & Liner Kits each contain 50 disposable lids with welded-in filters to strain paint material while spraying, along with 50 liners and 20 sealing plugs for use with the 3M Paint Preparation System. Kits are available in five sizes for a range of jobs large and small. PPS is a complete painting system that allows the painter to measure, mix, filter and spray paint materials.

    The kit contains 50 lids and liners designed for use with a standard-sized spray gun cup. Additionally, it includes one sealing plug and one disposable lid with an integrated collar.

  2. How many microns are filtered by the included filter?

    The kit comes equipped with a 200-micron filter that helps to prevent debris or contaminants from contaminating your paint job.

  3. Can I buy just the liners separately?

    Yes! If you already have the spray gun adapter necessary for this product, you can purchase additional lids and liners (without having to buy another sealing cap or other accessories) individually.

3M™ PPS™ Standard Lids and Liners Kit contains 50 disposable lids, 50 disposable liners and 20 sealing plugs for use with the original PPS™ spray gun system.

The PPS™ spray gun system is an all-in-one solution for measuring, mixing, filtering and spraying paint materials. Unlike conventional aluminum or other metal paint cup systems, with PPS™ you don’t have to mix paint in extra cups and filter it into a paint reservoir, so you waste less paint.

Using the PPS™ system is easy. Simply place a liner in the reusable paint cup, mix the paint, snap on the lid, attach the locking collar and you’re ready to spray. With a fresh lid and liner for each mix, there’s less risk of outside contamination.

Using the PPS™ system can also increase productivity in prep and cleanup time by as much as 50% and use up to 70% less cleaning solvent over conventional paint cup systems.

Each lid strains paint material with a built-in 200-micron filter, commonly used for solvent-based paint materials. Specially designed PPS™ stainless steel metal adapters let you use the PPS™ system with virtually any spray gun.
