3M Temflex Electrical Tape 1700 is a 7 mil thick, general purpose, vinyl electrical tape. This flame retardant tape is designed for protective jacketing and harnessing. This tape is 600V rated and withstands a temperature range of 32 to 176 F (0 to 80 C).

3M™ Temflex™ Tape 1700 has a flame-retardant PVC backing that is elastic and can conform to most shapes. It is also resistant to alkalis, acids, UV rays, and copper corrosion, making it suitable for use in ever-changing weather conditions. The rubber-resin adhesive creates a seal that repels moisture and helps prevent shorting of installations.

This tape is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and has been approved by ASTM, CSA, UL, and RoHS 2011/65/EU. It is commonly used for mechanical and electrical protection in applications such as wire harness cable splicing, cable jacketing, and repairs.
