Constructed of polyethylene film with a synthetic rubber adhesive, 3M Outdoor Masking Poly Tape resists curling and tears off the roll cleanly for easy application on stucco and other challenging, coated exteriors. This economical tape was constructed to allow for permanent and temporary applications. It is removable with little or no adhesive residue up to one month after application.

What is Masking Tape?

Masking tape was specifically developed to protect surrounding surfaces from overspray, create clean paint lines, and be easily and cleanly removed once the task is completed. 3M's masking tapes adhere well, resist solvents and water from paint, and are strong enough to hang plastic sheeting, while still being able to be removed without causing damage to the underlying surface. The crepe paper backing of the tape allows it to conform to curved and irregular surfaces, and it can be torn by hand for easy application without the need for tools.
