The Surface Conditioning RC Roll is a versatile abrasive product that combines nonwoven nylon fibers and aluminum oxide mineral using a resin bond. This unique combination creates an open web structure that is ideal for final finishing on ferrous metals. The RC material has a high cut rate, ensuring a consistent and uniform cut over the entire surface.

The resin bond used in the RC Roll tolerates heat and enhances the overall durability of the abrasive. The aluminum oxide mineral is friable, meaning it fragments under heat and pressure to reveal sharp cutting edges. This cycle of renewal keeps the cutting fast and efficient. Additionally, the gaps between the nonwoven fibers allow swarf and debris to escape, prolonging the service life of the abrasive.

The Surface Conditioning RC Roll is particularly well-suited for use on ferrous metals, high nickel/chrome alloys, and stainless steel. Its open web structure is buoyant and responsive to surface irregularities, making it effective on both flat and contoured surfaces.
