3M Bayonet Particulate Filters are NIOSH approved and conveniently provide protection against a wide range of dusts, mists and other particulates. They have a bayonet-style connection that fits any 3M Bayonet Reusable Respirator offering low breathing resistance and good balance with a slim design.

  • NIOSH APPROVED P100 particulate filter for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. 3M recommended for relief against nuisance* levels of acid gases.
  • USE WITH 3M 5000 Series Respirators or 3M Gas and Vapor Cartridges 6000 Series (with Adaptor 502) which are approved for use with 3M Half Facepiece 6000, 6500 and 7500 Series or 3M Full Facepiece 6000, FF-400 or 7800S Series.
  • These cartridge/filters can help reduce inhalation exposures to certain airborne biological particles (e.g. mold, Bacillus anthracis, avian influenza, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, etc.) but cannot eliminate the risk of contracting infection, illness or disease
  • BREATH EASY: 3M’s advanced filter technology provides a lightweight, easy breathing combination.

The 3M Particulate Filter 2096, P100, with Nuisance* Level Acid Gas Relief is designed to provide respiratory protection against various hazardous substances such as lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA. This filter is effective in protecting against both oil and non-oil based particulate contaminants. It also offers relief from nuisance level odors caused by acid gases that are below the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL).

This filter is compatible with a wide range of 3M Reusable Respirators, including the 3M Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000, and FF-400 Series. It can also be used with the 3M Respirator 5000 Series or 3M Cartridge 6000 Series when used with the 3M Adapter 502.

When properly selected and fitted, this filter can be used in various applications such as grinding, sanding, and welding. It provides protection for concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA PEL with half facepieces or 50 times the PEL with full facepieces when quantitatively fit tested.

It is important to note that respirators help protect against specific airborne contaminants.
