3M Removable Repositionable Tape 9415PC is a double coated tape that works on a variety of substrates or materials for temporary mounting of lightweight materials such as paper, plastics, films or foams. This double coated tape is composed of medium-tack, permanent adhesive on one side and low tack adhesive on the other with a resilient polyester film carrier in between.

How do I apply this product correctly?

1: Make sure your surface area is clean before application.
2: Remove liner from adhesive side of the tape and align with desired placement.

3: Apply firm pressure across length of application utilizing appropriate tool (squeegee or fingers)
4 :If adjustments are necessary during application process simply peel back corners and adjust as needed since its design allows easy removal/repositioning.

3M™ Removable Repositionable Double Coated Tape 9415PC is a versatile tape that can be used for lightweight items that need to be repositioned or removed and replaced repeatedly. The low tack adhesive allows for residue-free removal from many papers, foils, and films. The tape's resilient polyester carrier improves handling and strength, provides dimensional stability, and higher temperature resistance for improved processing of parts and ease of liner removal. The combination of permanent and repositionable adhesive makes this tape ideal for a wide range of applications such as core starting/end tabbing, holding credit cards in mailers, closing envelopes, and more.

3M protects this tape using a 70 lb. polycoated kraft paper liner. The moisture-stable liner provides reliable performance for industrial applications, such as die-cutting and automated dispensers, and helps reduce edge roll and protects the tape from humidity extremes.

Two Sides, Two Adhesives

3M™ Acrylic Adhesive 400 is a medium-firm pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive system that features an excellent balance of good initial adhesion and good shear holding power. This formulation gives 3M™ Adhesive 400 a consistently strong bond, good low temperature performance (up to 250°F/121°C), and good peel strength on many surfaces.

3M™ Repositionable Acrylic Adhesive 1000 offers a low tack adhesion and provides clean removal to intended substrates and is repositionable after initial application. In addition, this repositionable tape is solvent resistance and maintains clarity and UV resistance, which is particularly beneficial for window label applications.
