  2. How do I apply 3M™ Paste Rubbing Compound?

    Before using the product, ensure that the surface you intend to work on is clean and dry. Apply the paste rubbing compound with an orbital buffer at about 1,500-2,000 RPM in a section-by-section manner. Buff until abrasion disappears. Then wipe off excess material with a clean cloth.

  3. Can this rubbing compound cause damage to my car's paint?

    No. The formulation of our paste rubbing compound contains no silicones or waxes that could hide blemishes rather than remove them. Instead it uses fine cut aluminum oxide abrasive mineral blended into a paste consistency which makes it safe for use on clear coats and paints without causing any damages.#

This fast cutting paste is easy to apply with a polisher and a 3M™ compounding pad.
