3M PPS Series 2.0 Adapter provides four points of connection from lid-to-gun and converts typical spray guns into ones that work with the 3M PPS Series 2.0 Spray Cup System. Specifically designed adapters allow painters to use PPS with virtually any spray gun model. To use this adapter, remove the existing spray gun cup. Then simply thread the correct PPS Adapter into the spray gun.

    This particular model is designed for use with SATA QCC cups but there are several other adapter types available for connection with various brands of spray guns.

  4. Is it difficult to install and change out during application if necessary?

    No, it's very simple to install and change out when needed which can save time on jobs that require frequent color changes, cleaning or maintenance.

  5. Does using this adapter really save paint and reduce cleanup time as advertised?

    Yes! The patented design features disposable liners that keep your cup clean so you don't have to constantly clean or replace them after every job which saves you valuable time (up to half an hour per day!) Additionally, by using less solvent you'll ultimately consume less material- so yes! You should absolutely expect notable savings over traditional methods!

3M™ PPS™ 2.0 Adapter #S33 allows you to use your American Turbine 225xx series paint gun with the PPS™ 2.0 Spray Cup System.

PPS™ 2.0 adapters are made of durable stainless steel and feature an improved lid-to-gun connection for more stability. The wide bowl design allows for fast and easy cleaning. There is an adapter available for almost any spray gun, so you can use the convenient PPS™ 2.0 system without giving up your favorite gun.

PPS™ 2.0 has several improvements, including a quarter-turn locking collar with each lid, a domed lid design for better spray performance, and a wider lid fluid spout. Each paint cup has convenient printed-on universal mix ratios for accurate mixing and a clear access window for easy visibility.

With PPS™, you don’t have to mix paint in extra cups and filter it into the paint reservoir, so you waste less paint compared to conventional aluminum or other metal paint cup systems. Additionally, with a fresh lid and liner for each mix, there’s less risk of outside contamination.

By using this system, you can increase productivity in prep and cleanup time by as much as 50% and use up to 70% less cleaning solvent compared to conventional paint cup systems.
