3M Double Coated Tape 97001 is a polyester (PET) film tape coated on both sides with high tack acrylic adhesive. The .5 mil film carrier adds stability for easier handling, and a 74-lb. polyester carrier makes for easier processing. This double sided tape is specifically designed for permanent bonding on low surface energy substrates including foams, plastics and metals.

Permanently Bonds to LSE Polyolefins, Papers, Vinyls and More

3M Double Coated Tape 97001 is a high-quality adhesive tape that is designed to bond to low surface energy (LSE) polyolefins, papers, vinyls, and other materials. It features a 1.5 mil high tack acrylic adhesive on each side of a 0.5 mil polyester (PET) film liner. The medium-firm acrylic adhesive provides excellent initial and final adhesion, making it ideal for efficient laminating procedures. The carrier, along with the 74-lb. polyester liner, enhances the handling of the tape and adds stability during processes such as die-cutting and slitting.
