3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 3000 UV is a one-component, medium-strength, moisture-curing, gap-filling adhesive sealant that cures to form a firm, flexible and waterproof seal on aluminum, wood, gel coat and fiberglass, making it well-suited for marine applications above or below the waterline. This product offers excellent UV resistance for reliable long term performance.

    3M™ Marine Adhesive Sealant 3000 UV is a white, one-component, adhesive and sealant that cures when exposed to ultraviolet light.

  2. What surfaces can it be used on?

    This product can be used on fiberglass, wood, metal, plastics and other common marine substrates. Be sure to follow all label directions for proper surface preparation for best results.

  3. Is it waterproof?

    Yes! Once cured this product provides great resistance to salt water and fresh water immersion which makes it excellent for above or below the waterline applications.

  4. How long does it take to cure?

    It will depend somewhat on temperature but within good application range (between 40°F/4°C -100°F/38°C) , with adequate exposure to natural daylight in reasonable conditions full cure should be reached in approximately two days.
